No shortcuts, no outsourced guesswork — just twelve deliberate stages, each checked before the next begins.
Every piece starts as a sketch — either from our design team or from a reference you send us. We work out proportions, stone placement, and metal weight before a single tool touches metal.
The sketch becomes a precise 3D model. CAD software locks in exact dimensions and stone tolerances; CAM translates that model into machine-ready instructions for the next stage.
The digital file is printed and cast into a master model in silver — a physical, exact reference of the final design that every future piece will be built from.
The silver master is used to create a rubber mould, produced by heat-vulcanizing rubber around it. That mould becomes the tool we use to reproduce the design accurately, order after order.
Wax is injected into the rubber mould to form a hollow wax replica of your piece. Several wax pieces are then soldered onto a central stem — a "wax tree" — ready for casting.
The wax tree is packed in a heat-resistant plaster, then fired in a furnace until the wax burns away, leaving a cavity in its exact shape. Molten gold or platinum is poured in, cooled, and released as raw metal jewelry.
Straight off the casting tree, each piece still carries a small nub where the wax was attached. A motorized grinding wheel removes it and smooths the surrounding metal to a clean, even base.
Any excess metal or solder is filed away by hand. Multi-piece designs are joined here, then given a first, careful pre-polish — done before stones go in, since a set diamond can't be safely polished around.
Your IGI-certified diamond or chosen gemstone is set by hand, using the technique the design calls for — prong, pavé, bezel, channel, or a hidden setting — under a jeweler's loupe, for a secure, gap-free fit.
With the stone secure, the piece goes through a final, thorough polish — by hand and by machine — to bring out full brilliance in both the metal and the setting around each stone.
White gold pieces receive a thin rhodium layer — a hard, bright-white precious metal that boosts shine and adds resistance to scratching and everyday tarnish.
Before anything ships, each piece is measured, visually inspected, and mechanically checked against our build spec — stone security, metal weight, and finish all have to pass before your order leaves the workshop.
